Every day, when I enter CRHS, I walk through a packed waiting room of patients who are seeking care from various members of our staff. Sometimes it is a little overwhelming. I wonder how we will possibly take care of all the needs that come to our attention that day. Yet, somehow, by the end of the day, everyone has been seen and their needs addressed. Then the early morning concern is replaced by a sense of satisfaction and a profound appreciation for the hard work and dedication of our caregivers – those who directly serve our patients and those who keep the organization going in other ways. All of us, in turn, could not do our jobs without our Board and without the generous contributions of our donors.

We put together a new 3-5 year strategic plan which will guide us as we continue to grow and improve our services. As part of that strategic plan, we expanded our chronic disease care model to include screening and treating depression, which is common among our patient population. We increased our case management staff to better meet the high demand for their services. It seems that things never stay the same at CRHS, except for high-quality, compassionate care for those in need. That’s what we are really all about.
