I'm ready to make a donation. Now what? All you need to do is click
here,
and you will be taken directly to our listing on the Catalogue for
Philanthropy.
Why don't you allow me to make a donation on your site? Columbia Road Health Services
uses the Catalogue For Philanthropy, a non-profit organization supported
by Network for Good and America On-Line to accept on-line donations. By utilizing the
Catalogue for Philanthropy, we do not have to pay to have our website
hosted on a server designed to handle on-line donations or maintain
a more complicated website.
How much of the money gets to you? Network for Good, whom the Catalogue for Philanthropy
uses for its online donation service, started to charge processing
fees in August, 2003. These fees amount to 3% of total
donations for credit card donations and $10 per transaction for
online check donations or $5 per donation for online check
transactions with more than 1 donation. These fees are deducted
before funds are distributed to Columbia Road Health Services.

If you would like the entirety of your donation to come to CRHS, you
can mail your check or credit card information to us directly.
Do you pay anything to belong to the Catalogue for Philanthropy? No. The Catalogue for Philanthropy
is financed independently of the non-profit organizations they support. Can I specify what I want my donation used for? Yes, just fill in the 'Designation'
field when you make your donation.
Can I make an anonymous donation? Yes. While you will need to
provide your address to the Catalogue for Philanthropy (for security
purposes), you may ask them not to send it to us. We would, however,
like to send you a note of thanks for your financial gift as well
as a tax-receipt. We cannot do that without your address. Does Columbia Road Health Services distribute my information to other agencies? No. Columbia Road Health Services
does not sell or distribute the e-mail or home addresses of any
of our donors and supporters. We do publicize certain gifts that
we receive through print materials and on our website. However,
this is at the complete discretion of the donor. Is it safe to make on-line donations through the Catalogue for Philanthropy? Yes. The giving mechanism
of the Catalogue for Philanthropy is powered by the Network for
Good, a nonprofit organization supported by Network for Good and America OnLine (AOL).
The site uses the same 128-bit encryption as all major web-based
retailers.
